Celebrations Are Life!

Theatrical Events

Your son’s first birthday party. Your daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. Someone special to you is retiring. All these and other once-in-a-lifetime events deserve to be captured on video. Realizing that personal milestones like these will never happen again, Video Ventures takes great care in shooting the event as it unfolds so that the story can be relived time and time again as the years pass by.

Our  Approach

Celebrations are, for the most part, times of joy, merrymaking and fun. We know this and try to capture that spirit in the videos we produce. Yet, we also know your son will never have a first birthday party again, or that a 50th wedding anniversary is a one-time event, and your daughter’s or son’s graduation comes along only once. With that in mind, Video Ventures approaches these once-in-a-lifetime events with the same serious dedication we put into shooting and creating all of our productions.

A memory to treasure. What  We  Do

Well in advance of the event we meet with the sponsor or organizer of the event. During this initial meeting we try to learn as much as possible about the upcoming celebration, including any “special” activities that will take place. We also work with our contact person to help in any way we can to make the event even more special… things like recommending a photographer or a band, and even creating PowerPoint presentations for projection during the event.

To assure covering the event goes as smoothly as possible, we visit the event site. This enables us to get a “feel” for the location, check on lighting conditions and learn the activity flow for the event… things like where people will be sitting and dancing. And if speakers are planned, it’s good to know where they will be in relation to the audience and the person(s) for whom the event is being held. By dealing with these details we can better plan where and how to shoot the event to best effect.

To discuss your upcoming event, see sample events or check date availability, just go to our “Contact Us” page and let us know how we can be of service to you.
